LVYSL: soccer for us is a fall sport.

Last year we did not get enough new spring registrations to cover our costs in the Spring. Spring was always a free bonus season for those who paid the previous fall, and was never part of their fall registration cost. In the spring, half of our players joined other sports. As a result our games were short on players. We share the fields with other sports in the spring, making our schedule very difficult. The worsening weather prevents us from painting our fields in time. The worsening weather cancels a lot of practices and games for an already short season.
